Nearly Done!

Sorry it's been so long since I've updated this blog. I've been working on a non-fiction project that should be published in a couple months (more on that later) and I've been getting A Referendum on Conscience ready, as well.

Just entered into Word the 383 pages of pen edits I've made over the last week.

The next step is to read this thing again on the laptop. Then I'll load it into my Kindle one more time before doing a final pass-through on the laptop.

Took a long time to reach this point. I wrote the first draft in the last few months of 2009, finishing on New Year's Eve. Then I read it a few times and did a bunch of edits over the course of 2010 before beginning the final edit process in January. I'll be glad to have it published, perhaps as soon as the end of this month -- depending on how much time I have to do readings.

And, yes, that is my door in the second picture. It's metal. The dry-erase marker wipes off.

Oh! I'm also really excited about my cover for this second book.
